Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs was born on February 24 , 1955 in San Francisco, California. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California and named him Steven Paul. He went to the Cupertino Junior High School and Homestead High School in Cupertino, California. He graduated from High school and enrolled in Reed College in Portland, Oregon. After only one semester he dropped out from the college but then also he continued auditing classes at Reed such as calligraphy. He slept on the floor of his friend's room, returned coke bottles to earn money and got free meals from local Hare Krishna temple.
In 1976, he co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. He started Apple with the fundings of a then marketing manager and engineer A.C. 'Mike' Markulla Jr.
In 1985, Jobs founded another computer company named NeXT Computer which was an American computer company that developed and manufactured a series of computer workstations intendedfor the higher and business markets.
In 1986, Jobs bought 'The Graphic Group' which was later renamed as 'Pixar'. The company has got 6 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
In 1996, Steve Jobs came back to the company which he initially started. He became the CEO of Apple in 1997 and from the onwards he serving as the CEO of apple.
He is one of the best CEOs of the world.
